Bring on the Spring
Through it All
The seasons turn, and now, quite soon –
the world will once more be in bloom,
The flowers bursting from the fields
As winter’s cold at last now yields
The sun will shine, and rain will fall
and we’ll be watching through it all
until we feel we must partake
and join with it, for all our sakes
The fever said to come with spring –
A slightly madness it may bring
For we have so long been confined
Within our homes, within our minds
So time for us to be renewed
And with the season, be imbued
With energetic hope, rebirth –
For spring is here, a time of mirth
So let us all embrace the joy
and hope it may not be alloyed
For spring has possibility
The season of fertility
So let your hearts and minds awake
A spring in every step you take
For long it has been drawing near –
The wait is over, spring is here!
